Crazy urban adventure! Andrew Wonder goes on an adventure with Urban Historian, Steve Duncan. It takes a bit of time to watch this whole thing, but the last sequence on the bridge is amazing. I found myself totally on the edge of my seat watching much of this. 

Time Lapse - Nukes Since 1945

Believe me, its a little slow to get going but jump ahead to 1961 thru 1963ish… it really gets rolling in there. The date in the upper right corner represents the month and year. Also, don’t miss how absolutely thoroughly we blast the south west. No wonder nothing grows out there.

Tutorial - Lost my Safari URL bar.

My good friend Clarence found hmself in a pickle and couldn’t figure out how he lost his URL input bar in Safari. It can be a bit tricky if you are unfamiliar with it but, as is the case with a lot of things… its really easy if you know what you are doing.

Here is the video that accompanies the story about how Amy Bradley went missing on the Royal Caribbean boat, Rhapsody of the Sea back in 1998. Before you go on a cruise yourself, please read this story and watch this video. Primetime is supposedly doing another story about Amy.  

For you video people reading this… We were shooting on DVCam in early 1998. I also had to have a BetaSP deck in my room because eventually we were going to play our show off the BetaSP deck in the ship theater. I was cutting on Media 100 in an interior stateroom with no windows. This footage is a firewire transfer from the original DVCam and compressed to H264. Obviously the H264 was made MUCH later.

Great Ad using Technology

This is cool… I freaked out when I saw it and had to refresh the page a few times before it did it again. This is a great example of technology and message coming together. The technology to grab a draw of the CNN page and then map it to the tablet that the girl grabs and walks away with… But also the message that the tablet can PLAY the web, the “real web” just as you are browsing on your desktop machine. Very cool ad.
