Tutorial - Color Correction Masks in FCPX

yea yea yea, its not the 3 way color corrector from FCP7 but there are some really cool features in the FCPX color board and color corrector. Color Masks, Shape Masks, Inside and Outside controls. Check out this simple fix on a shot that just needed a little bit of love.

Hallelujah, you promised us Final Cut X tutorials and you are delivering. This is superb, makes me want to go out and purchase a new iMac.

Do you even venture into Resolve via FCPX?

Hey Chris, just curious but when you apply these color effects & you happen to go out of your basic 0-100 luma levels etc.. would you just apply a "Broadcast Safe" filter or would that not be a concern? I know this tutorial is older but that I'd ask. Thanks! JOHN
