Tutorial - Animation in Apple Keynote

I was working on a special video project for Barry Andersson recently and he was asking me how I did some of the animations, Photoshop and After Effects maybe? NOPE… Just keynote. So I told him I’d make up a little tutorial on how, uh… well, how I did the tutorial. Here you go Barry.

Tutorial - Photoshop to FCPX Link

This is an incredible new feature in Photoshop CC that was just recently released. It allows Photoshop to constantly be creating assets for web developers from their layer names. I’ve taken it one step further and created a little work around to allow you to “dynamically link” (yep… fake SEO juice again) in order to constantly be updating your images in FCPX.

Tutorial - After Effects to FCPX LInk

There is one thing that I don’t mention in this tutorial that is pretty important. If you allow FCPX to manage your library, and it copies files into its Library instead of leaving them in place, this technique won’t work. What you’ll need to do is turn off the “Copy my Files into the Library” feature in the preferences.
