Tutorial - ScreenFlow Alignment

My buddy, Joseph Linaschke contacted me earlier this evening with a really interesting problem.  He wanted to be able to MOVE his iSight Track in ScreeFlow BUT he also wanted to get it back EXACTLY where it was... tough to do in ScreenFlow because they have no XY coordinates to allow you to pin register something. Also, I've been requesting some sort of Presets so I could hit one button and have it frame the upper left corner on the Apple menu since before Telestream bought ScreenFlow, but thats another topic.
Anyway, check out this cool tip. Works great for those who really want something to be exact.

So you think you are hungry?

7D Break Bread (short film shot on the Canon 7D) from RAWworks on Vimeo.

As more and more people lose their jobs, and more and more people lose their homes and failing banks continue to pay multi-milliion dollar bonus packages to executives, you have to wonder, "what the hell is going on?" Eventually there is going to be a breaking point. At some point all hell is going to let lose. The guy in this short is at that point. Watch this!

Tutorial - Plug-In Presets - The Tony Method

This is a really cool trick that came out of an afternoon with my friend Tony Salgado, who was an old school CMX editor. Tony kept pushing to find a way to be able to apply a series of effects all at once. I kept saying, "its not that hard to drag a few plug ins over Tony..." but he kept pushing. We then came up with the idea of putting many plug ins into a folder and then being able to drag the whole folder over to the clip in the timeline at once.

It was a brilliant idea and it saves a TON of time. Check it out.
