My good friend Dave Dugdale asked me if I would be willing to sit down with him at NAB and cut a piece he had shot. I was honored that he wanted to shoot the whole thing and make a tutorial out of it. I’d never been asked to actually explain so much about what was going on in my head and although it was a bit weird at first it actually made ME think abit about why I did so much of what I do on a day to day basic.

On a side note, I was TOTALLY impressed with how quickly Dave turned this tutorial around. He had a first draft to show me Saturday AM and he had left NAB on Thursday. Dave Started with about 3 hours of material and felt bad that he only got it down to 40 minutes but frankly, I think he did a great job.

I’d also like to credit Ryan Christensen one of the guests in the suite this evening,  for giving me the tip that I used in my Multicam Syncing tutorial. Everyone shows you how to sync a few clips together but Ryans tips made it MUCH easier to sync MANY clips all at the same time. Its VERY powerful and I’d recommend you check it out as Doug cut all of the syncing out of THIS edit demo for times sake.
