Wanna Learn Apple Color?

Chris Fenwick in Final Cut Pro, Tutorial

Here is a tiny disclaimer. Joseph Linaschke is a good friend of mine. We met about 8 or 9 years ago when Joseph was at Apple as their head demo artist and tutorial producer and I was a contractor that they use to bring in to create tutorial videos.

Well now ever since Apple abandoned the trade show circuit they didn’t need Joseph. And since the advent of Screenflow, Joseph doesn’t need MY help anymore.

At any rate. I watched his latest project, an in-depth demo of the best “free color corrector” you’re ever gonna get for Final Cut Pro, Apple’s Color. I’ll admit I am NOT a fan of the workflow of color but when Joseph walks you through all the features of Color it makes you wonder… “wow, why aren’t I launching this app more often.?”

Joseph is CLEARLY one of the best. He never glosses over anything, including how to set up your mouse so you have all the controls at your fingertips that you’ll need to really operate the application.

In my career I’ve literally shot THOUSANDS of software demos going back to the mid 80’s and I can honestly say, there is NO one I look forward to working with and listening to more than Joseph.  Do yourself a favor and take a look at this video, you won’t be disappointed.

You can see it here.
